Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

What will you be doing?

Are you passionate about shaping market access strategies through real-world evidence? As a Health Outcomes Manager (HOM), you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of practice-based evidence that showcases the value of our advanced wound management technologies within the U.S. market. You'll work directly with healthcare providers to capture and analyze quality improvement data based on their experience with our solutions-highlighting clinical, economic, and environmental benefits. Your insights will help validate care pathways, support business cases, and influence regional and national coverage decisions.

In this role, you'll lead product-specific audit programs across the U.S., ensuring data is ethically and compliantly captured to meet patient privacy standards. You'll also collaborate with internal and external teams to generate academic publications, posters, case series, and studies. Your strategic input will extend across new product development, launches, marketing, and sales execution. By partnering with Marketing, Training, and Commercial teams, you'll help develop payer communication tools and align health outcomes strategies with broader business priorities.

What will you need to be successful?

To succeed in this role, you should bring at least seven years of experience in healthcare, ideally with a background in wound management. Your professional journey may include both commercial and clinical exposure, and you should have a solid understanding of quality improvement practices. You'll be comfortable working directly with clinicians to capture meaningful data that drives better outcomes, and you'll be confident communicating at the healthcare management level. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills are essential, along with basic medical writing capabilities.

You are self-motivated and thrive both independently and as part of a team. You're able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with ease. Your clinical expertise in wound care, combined with strong presentation skills and a strategic mindset, will help you contribute effectively across cross-functional teams. You're solutions-focused, creative, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to prioritize project workstreams and adapt to evolving business needs.

This role demands commitment and focus, especially when working on detailed tasks for extended periods. You'll need to juggle multiple customer needs and meet deadlines consistently. Travel is expected up to 30%, so flexibility and readiness to engage with stakeholders across locations is important.

You. Unlimited.
