This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Campus and remote.

DESCRIPTION

The Department of Surgery is one of the largest departments in the School of Medicine and is comprised of 102 full time faculty members, 220 voluntary faculty members, 20 physicians employed on MSP agreements, 25 doctors employed by the VA or other facilities, 77 accredited and 13 non-accredited trainees and 100 career staff. Activities are organized in 13 sub-specialty divisions. Annual expenditures across the Department total over $66.5M with a global research portfolio of over $19M. The missions of research, education and patient care are intertwined, and are integral to the goals of the department.

The Ross Lab is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Coordinator and Implementation Scientist. This unique hybrid role combines patient-facing research coordination with the application of implementation science frameworks to evaluate and strengthen our studies. The full-time position is ideal for a candidate who is enthusiastic about bridging clinical coordination with implementation research to advance the early detection and management of peripheral artery disease (PAD).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four (4) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area.

  • Thorough knowledge of research function.

  • Thorough skills associated with statistical analysis and systems programming. Excellent computing skills in statistical software and a publication record documenting both self-directed and collaborative research.

  • Thorough skills in analysis and consultation.

  • Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Skills in project management.

  • Research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations.

  • Ability to professionally manage cross discipline and cross institute collaborations, acting as an engaged and proactive subject matter expert.

  • Familiarity with implementation science methods and frameworks.

  • Ability to build, foster, and maintain positive and productive professional relationships. Ability to manage multiple collaborations - multi tasks.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Comfort working across clinical and research teams.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $88,000 - $161,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $42.15 - $77.39

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
