Description
Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support our client's advanced engineering team in McLeansville, NC. This role involves assisting engineers in the design, development, testing, and validation of complex electrical systems and equipment used in critical defense and intelligence applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical and electronic prototypes.
  • Conduct performance and functional tests; troubleshoot circuitry and components.
  • Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
  • Interpret and apply detailed engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support product development and system integration.
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and technical reports.
  • Champion new ideas and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in reading and applying complex technical specifications and standards.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment, data analysis, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with data documentation, spreadsheet analysis, and test software.
  • Ability to generate and interpret block diagrams and detailed technical documents.
  • Proven record of leadership, initiative, and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
