Senior Digital Enterprise Engineer
As a member of theDigital Engineering team the Senior Digital Enterprise Engineer will support our Integrated Digital Enterprise Environment (IDEE). The Senior Digital Enterprise Engineer will strategize, concept and oversee development and deployment of improvements and expansion of our IDEE. Focus will be on the digital enterprise ecosystem and connecting the tools, data, and people across engineering and other enterprise organizations. A key component will be developing the digital threads across defined Authoritative Sources of Truths (ASoTs). The Senior Digital Enterprise Engineer will collaborate with engineering, Information Technology (IT), and other GDLS organizations to enhance current connectivity and implement new systems and connections across multiple entities to unite and deliver on a common goal.

Responsibilities:
- Enhance our Integrated Digital Enterprise Environment (IDEE) by working with engineering organizations, IT, and other organizations to grow the connected set of tools and data
- Collaborate with engineering departments and technology stakeholders to understand specific challenges and capturing software function with details on data input/output with connecting systems
- Transform manual processes into automated processes where applicable, and document new processes
- Identify risks and gaps in development of the IDEE
- Operate in an agile mindset and adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Review technical support strategies, integrations, virtualization, and storage
- Support roadmap development and oversight
Qualifications;
- Bachelor Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline desired. ((Other degrees within computer science, data science, or a related field can be applicable with relevant experience.)
- 10 plus years experience in a engineering role
- Systems Engineering experience and mindset for program execution
- Required: Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo/MagicDraw or similar application
- Strong understanding of Model Based Design (MBD) including engineering data and digital engineering application
- Solid facilitation skills
- Strong knowledge management skills
- Ability to articulate vision
- Experience with implementing digital ecosystems
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language.
- Strong leadership, project and team building skills - ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives by working effectively with others.
- Solid understanding of engineering disciplines within design and test, including hardware and software development
- Ability to identify and define gaps and risks in systems configuration
- Ability to navigate application owners and vendors for data gathering efforts
- Strategist with strong analytical skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Information:
- This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
- Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required Works well in team and individually
- Must be able to work evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
