with a litigation focus who's excited to dive into everything from
FCRA disputes to employment-related investigations. In this
role, you'll partner with internal teams and outside counsel to craft
smart strategies, navigate evolving regulations, and keep the business one step

What You'll Do:
- Execute existing and develop new strategies for handling
complaints, investigations, and other legal and quasi-legal proceedings. - Coordinate with Human Resources and the Litigation Team to
provide advice and guidance concerning employee complaints, workplace
investigations, and employment related policies, procedures, and best
practices. - Work closely with other members of the Litigation Team on
pending, threatened, and actual employment-related litigation. - Work with outside counsel to gain, develop,
and maintain knowledge of current and evolving employment laws,
rules, and regulations applicable to the domestic and international locations
where offices and employees are located.
Who You Are:
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active and current Bar membership in the United States with
no record of discipline - Five years of relevant legal experience, with some
meaningful commercial litigation experience - If assigned to the Employment Litigation Focus, at least
five years of California employment law experience - Basic understanding of or the ability to learn about
software development, complex relational databases, cloud computing, and
software-as-a-service (SaaS) - Highest level of professional ethics and personal integrity
and sound judgment - Superlative oral and written communication skills
- Strong and demonstrated ability to work
individually and as a team, including under pressure, with minimal direct
supervision and while managing many competing priorities - Working knowledge of or the ability to learn about the FCRA,
consumer reporting, and tenant screening - Interest in learning and analyzing complex statutes
(including the FCRA), case law, and other primary and secondary sources and the
ability to provide clear and sound conclusions and recommendations - Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and
Outlook, and ability to learn and use proprietary customer/matter management
software - Friendly, collegial, and collaborative disposition
Ideal to Have:
- Mix of law firm and in-house legal experience
- Risk assessment and management experience
- Experience working with software developers or technology
teams - Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, and/or Texas employment
law experience

Annual Salary Range: $168,000 - $189,000
