PSC Group has an exciting new growth opportunity located in our office in Baton Rouge, LA. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual seeking an A/P role in a family-oriented company that is growing tremendously and backed by a private equity. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (some flexibility with hours)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processes vendor invoices for payment by coding, entering, and routing for approval
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Researches discrepancies between vendor records and company records and resolves differences
• Provides high level of customer service to all vendors and employees
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Assists leadership will other tasks/projects, as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of full cycle AP experience
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to process a large volume of invoices accurately and timely
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize projects and multitask
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
