Trimble Construction Field Solutions is a worldwide provider of both software and hardware used for the construction of both buildings and infrastructure. This particular position will be within the infrastructure group that is involved in road, pipeline, dam, rail, marine and general site development.

Our products help heavy machine operators, supervisors and surveyors perform their work better around the values of productivity, safety, transparency, sustainability, and quality. The products, software and services are sold through both a direct and indirect channel. Additionally, the sales involve both perpetual and "as a service" business models.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving sales excellence across Texas, directly influencing the adoption of cutting-edge construction technology and shaping the future of how essential infrastructure is built. You will have the opportunity to empower distributor teams and make a tangible impact on divisional growth.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales plan to ensure activities align with and support the overall strategic goals of the division.

  • Provide expert sales coaching and support to distributor teams, helping them master the Trimble portfolio and transition toward subscription-based models.

  • Spearhead the acquisition of new accounts through collaborative sales presentations and the Trimble Way methodology.

  • Partner with channel leadership to develop effective organizational designs and monitor performance through key metrics and scorecards.

  • Deliver timely market insights and sales forecasts to influence regional strategy and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • You have a proven track record in technical solution sales within the surveying, civil engineering, or construction industries.

  • You possess a deep understanding of advanced technology distribution and the drivers that help small businesses thrive.

  • You are a natural communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • You have strong analytical skills used to manage sales pipelines, negotiate effectively, and identify market opportunities.

  • You hold a BS degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or have equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with TPaaS subscription models and "as a service" business structures.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in conduct technical product demonstrations on construction sites.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
