Project Manager (Technology) Part-time position

POSITION REPORTS TO: Executive Director, EUFAC DIRECT REPORTS: None EMPLOYEE STATUS: Exempt, Part-time (20 hours per week, benefit eligible) ROLE TYPE/LEVEL: Mid Level (Non-Supervisory) CLIENT/DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council (EUFAC) was created to provide subspecialty fellowship program accreditation for Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowships. In order to achieve the mission of providing accreditation to programs, EUFAC evaluates applications for accreditation using published accreditation standards. EUFAC represents a coalition of Emergency Medicine organizations with a common goal of quality subspecialty training in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography. JOB OVERVIEW: Manages technology projects and processes related to the EUFAC Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) fellowship accreditation including but not limited to: Working with Drupal developer and EDI technology teams to customize application portal and create reports for the EUFAC accreditation system. Ensuring upkeep of EUFAC informational website. Development of custom reports to assist in ensuring EUFAC's ability for consistent accreditation decisions based on published Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) Program Requirements. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (20.0 hours/week):
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate has basic computer program literacy and is able to effectively communicate with subject matter experts to outline and implement technology projects. Willingness to learn about the healthcare/accreditation industry, while evaluating ways for process improvement. Strong communication skills with adaptability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (technology professionals, physicians, administrative staff). Project management skills (ability to work with budgets and timelines). EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in related field. Ability to professionally communicate with developers discussing projects utilizing a variety of software products, including Drupal, Nimble, WordPress. Willingness to acquire additional programming/computer/reporting skills to efficiently manage projects. Computer proficiency, outstanding organizational and communication skills. TRAVEL REQUIRED: Approximately 1 week per year. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a full-time position located in our office in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light lifting, bending, may occasionally be required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Attendance at accreditation review meetings (virtual), and travel to 1-2 in-person meeting(s)/year is required. |
