Staffmark is seeking a Process Operator to join our team and help produce high-quality soy-based liquid products. In this role, you'll follow written and verbal instructions to operate processing equipment efficiently, maintain quality standards, and ensure safety for yourself and others.

Pay: $25.25/hr | Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating

Responsibilities



  • Set up production processes, including CIP and sanitizing mixing and processing equipment
  • Monitor and operate processors, surge tanks, and related equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance on valves, gaskets, homogenizers, and other equipment
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating issues independently
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and participate in housekeeping initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with team members, support groups, and management
  • Assist in coaching and training new process operators
  • Follow all GMP, HACCP, SOPs, and safety protocols



Qualifications



  • Experience operating processors and related equipment, including CIP and surge tanks
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot moderate to complex problems
  • Strong understanding of production flow, product separation, and batching requirements
  • Capable of preparing and maintaining accurate production paperwork
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to fill in for supervision when needed and train new team members
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and process terminology
