Responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for clients; heavily involved in establishing, developing, and growing both new and existing business Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure high client satisfaction throughout engagements
  • Lead and manage a team of advisory consultants on complex client engagements, overseeing workflow, quality control, and timely delivery of results
  • Develop and approve comprehensive work plans for client projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and firm standards
  • Conduct thorough reviews of all work completed by team members before submission to Practice Director and Principal, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project scope
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to clients, effectively communicating project outcomes, recommendations, and financial insights
  • Mentor and guide the professional development of staff and senior-level consultants, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations
  • Prepare proposals, price engagements, and negotiate contracts with clients, balancing profitability with competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with Practice Directors and Principals to identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to practice growth and strategy

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Policy Administration
  • At least 7 years healthcare financial operations or consulting work experience
  • At least 5 years project management experience, including complex, multi-faceted engagements At least 2 years accounting and finance work experience
  • At least 4 years people management experience
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices
  • Proven track record of successful client relationship management

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Health Policy Administration
  • Certification in healthcare finance such as Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Proven track record of successful business development including proposal writing and engagement pricing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and cost-saving initiatives in healthcare settings
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences

Expectations

  • Comfortable with remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration tools
  • May require up to 40% travel for client meetings, conferences or training
  • Physical demands include extended periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication
