You will work in our Newark office, leading a growing team of executive assistants and stakeholders, providing support to Partners and Senior Partners.

Your Impact
As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of 12-15 Executive Assistants.
This role involves working closely with the Administrative Manager leadership team on the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. You will lead, coach, and motivate team members to enhance their effectiveness and overall job satisfaction.
You will also assess development needs, arrange for individualized and/or group-based training as well as develop and deliver training in conjunction with professional development plans.
You will conduct timely and thorough performance evaluations by gathering, summarizing, and delivering feedback (on an ongoing basis, as well as formally during annual reviews).
The role also involves creating and maintaining an energizing, high-performing work environment reflecting McKinsey values and a collaborative team-based culture.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with location and regional recruiting efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels. You will also contribute to assignment and staffing decisions.

Your qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-year college degree strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience (or equivalent), preferably in a professional environment
  • Strong leadership skills: the ability to coach and motivate
  • Willingness and ability to make independent decisions
  • Strong integrity, maturity, and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer-service attitude and ability to build and cultivate strong client relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and conflict resolution skills; strong influencing capabilities
  • Flexibility to frequently work outside standard work hours

to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
