Green Bay Packaging Inc. is calling all number-crunching rockstars for a summer 2026 internship that's anything but boring! As our Corporate Accounting Intern, you'll jump into the action with financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, credit, and system upgrades-all while collaborating with awesome teams across the company. It's paid, it's hands-on, and it's packed with real-world experience in a fast-moving corporate setting. Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Initiatives:

    • Act as back up for accounts payable & cash application team members.
    • Assist with projects related to sales & use tax.




  • Corporate Accounting/Financial Reporting Initiatives

    • Assist with month end close tasks.
    • Assist with various financial reporting projects within department.
    • Review and assist with standardizing GL usage across Green Bay Packaging divisions to ensure similar expenses are recorded in similar accounts.




  • Credit Initiatives

    • Update and review customer financials for credit risk.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure documentation is up to date, including sales tax exemption forms.




  • Other Initiatives

    • Support corporate accounting team with bringing several new divisions into the corporate financial management system (Acumatica).
    • Provide support for company-wide HR/Payroll system transition (UKG), including data reconciliation between old system a new system.
    • Assist with annual upgrade for financial management system (Acumatica), including testing transactions to ensure processes run as expected.




Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
