Overview of the Role:The Finance Data Office (FiDO) FSGC (Finance & Strategy Governance Committee) team is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst. In this unique role, the Sr. Business Analyst will serve as the FSGC Data SME for the Finance & Strategy (F&S) Sales team, owning and auditing data mapping files, providing expert support, and ensuring data integrity and scalability. They will manage business change intake, translate requirements into metadata and mapping solutions, and support execution of validated updates across Foundation Data Model (FDM), Budget accountability mapping (Leaderview), Targets setting mapping for Corporate and Sales (Targets file), and data platforms like Workday, Hyperion Essbase and Snowflake. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across the company to elicit and analyze business requirements, evaluate existing processes, and identify gaps or inefficiencies. The analyst will translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation and will manage resource allocation to leverage various FiDO data and process capabilities, ensuring solutions are both scalable and effective. The role includes analyzing datasets, building reports and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders and governing bodies, supporting large-scale transformation projects, and maintaining documentation and training to enable efficient, aligned, and compliant data operations within FiDO to drive our vision of "Through collaborative partnerships and broad capabilities, we empower Finance with data and insights, fueling Agentic innovation and data-driven growth". Impact :
  • Serve as the FSGC Data SME for the F&S Sales team, responsible for owning, maintaining, and auditing data mapping files to meet business needs. Will also provide expert support, consultation, and issue resolution to ensure data mapping integrity, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support the Finance & Strategy Governance Committee (FSGC) by managing intake of business changes, translating requirements into effective metadata and mapping solutions, and executing approved updates with full validation across the Foundation Data Model (FDM), Budget accountability mapping (Leaderview), Targets setting mapping for Corporate and Sales (Targets file), and Hyperion cubes.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights, while cleaning and transforming data into accurate formats; generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, Hyperion Essbase, Tableau, Snowflake, and other financial tools.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from FiDO stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, and support testing and validation to confirm solutions meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the FDMO (Foundation Data Model Office) to align FSGC governance policies with the FDM governance model, while overseeing UAT to validate accurate implementation of FSGC changes in Workday.
  • Contribute to the design and ongoing development of Hyperion-based cubes and Leaderview logic, partnering with Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) to deliver updated mappings across key reporting systems.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of an EPM tool to support F&S planning and forecasting needs, with the potential to enable the retirement of Hyperion.
  • Using Tableau Prep, publish Leaderview mapping based on new FDM dimensions to critical data sources within Snowflake and Tableau Cloud.
  • Leverage and maintain co-developed tools (e.g., Metamorpher, data logic sequencing, data consolidator, Tableau Prep flows) to streamline data integrity and availability.
  • Partner with governing bodies across Salesforce like FDMO, FDG, etc. to ensure alignment with policy and governance standards, driving resolution when business requests conflict.
  • Facilitate creation of data contracts with non F&S stakeholders to ensure alignment with FSGC requirements.
  • Co-build monthly refresh cycle calendars, secure stakeholder alignment, and deliver FDM Tableau Starter Workbook training and support, as needed.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, learning materials, and technical guides to ensure operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Play a key role in large-scale transformation projects (e.g., Cloud ERP transition, EPM tool assessment, FDM consolidation/rationalization, centralizing mapping within the CFO organization).
  • Create and Support communication strategies to raise awareness of FSGC processes and dependencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years work experience in FP&A, Accounting, Consulting, Operations, or Data preferably at a public company with experience in data analytics, curation and validation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and processes in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Experience with multi-dimensional databases, e.g. Hyperion, Workday or other financial systems
  • Medium to advanced skills in Excel
  • Stellar problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-aware, collaborative, flexible, responsive, positive and fun
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, business stakeholders, and technical communities
  • Experience with reporting and analytics applications is a plus, e.g. Snowflake, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience and comfort with data analysis languages e.g. SQL
