Process Technician I - 2nd Shift

What you will be doing:

• Inputs molding parameters into press panel at the start of production run and performs a First Piece Sign Off.

• Monitors, troubleshoots, and adjusts the molding cycle to optimize the molding process to meet efficiency targets.
• Troubleshoots and corrects minor equipment problems.
• Operates PIT and documents safety checks.
• Monitors and analyzes the foam-molding process for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Prepares pre-expansion equipment for use and performs designated safety checks.
• Manages inventory of raw material using a FIFO system.
• Monitors and maintains appropriate density of expanded beads, records information using designated systems, communicates issues and status.
• Performs regrinding and densifying duties.
• Maintains cleanliness of manufacturing and storage areas using 5S standards.
• Completes and maintains records according to production and quality standards.
• Performs and documents daily safety checks on molding equipment.
• Performs and documents preventative maintenance.
• Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of safety, quality, and professionalism.
• Other duties as required.
• Overtime required at times

• Have a high school diploma or GED required.
• Have 2 - 4 years of Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
