Linux Engineer This position requires an ACTIVE DOE Q clearance or an ACTIVE Top-Secret clearance to be considered. Cherokee Federal is seeking a Linux Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Engineering team in a 24/7/365 operational environment. The role includes supporting enterprise IT operations, responding to outages, resolving system issues, and maintaining secure systems for classified data. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Join our team as a Linux Engineer and play a key role in supporting secure, mission-critical systems for government operations. In this role, you'll work with the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux technologies, automation tools, and cybersecurity practices to keep enterprise environments running smoothly and securely. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to grow technical expertise while contributing to a high-impact mission. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Linux Engineer: $120,000 - $130,000 Pay commensurate with experience.
