This position is funded for 1 year(s); continuation past 1 year(s) will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Heart and Vascular Institute at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, is seeking a biostatistician to assist HVI faculty on statistical projects. Successful applicants will have experience in healthcare research studies. Our access to patient data is limitless for research opportunities as we partner clinicians and statistical expertise. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Candidates should have experience managing large healthcare databases, possess strong time management and problem-solving skills, rigorous training in statistical methods and good communication skills. They will be able to work independently and collaboratively on campus. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree 6+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
