The Global Commercial Strategy & Enablement Director is accountable for shaping and driving Quest Diagnostics' international growth agenda. This role drives the enterprise's market assessment process, Global Diagnostics Network (GDN) strategy, and global communication forums while embedding commercial excellence across regions. The Director leads initiatives in portfolio management, strategic pricing, and channel optimization to maximize competitive advantage and value creation. A critical partner to Regional Managing Directors and functional leaders, this role fosters enterprise-wide alignment, builds bridges of communication and collaboration, and cultivates high-level relationships with global accounts. By combining strategic vision with disciplined execution, the Director advances Quest's financial performance, enhances customer success, and reinforces the company's leadership in diagnostics worldwide.
Responsibilities:
* Shape and Execute Global Market Development Strategy: Lead the design and execution of integrated strategies for business growth and international market entry and expansion, leveraging structured project and change management methodologies to deliver measurable outcomes. * Advance Commercial Excellence: Champion global commercial excellence initiatives, including sales training coordination, salesforce effectiveness, and deployment of best practices that elevate commercial capabilities across all regions. * Drive Portfolio and Pricing Strategy: Oversee portfolio management and strategic pricing initiatives to optimize value capture, enhance competitiveness, and align test offerings with evolving market and customer needs. * Optimize Channels and Market Access: Develop and implement channel optimization strategies to strengthen Quest's reach and efficiency across international markets, ensuring alignment with customer behaviors, partner capabilities, and regulatory frameworks. * Lead Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive assessments to identify opportunities, risks, and regional trends; direct the global market intelligence program; and play a critical role in the Annual Operating Plan and long-range strategic planning processes. * Strengthen Global Diagnostics Network (GDN): Manage and expand the GDN program, fostering partnerships, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among leading global healthcare organizations while ensuring effective communication plans and stakeholder forums. * Foster Collaboration Across the Enterprise: Build bridges of communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders across clinical franchises, finance, operations, legal, R&D, and communications, ensuring alignment of priorities and resources in support of global initiatives. * Cultivate Strategic Global Relationships: Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with key global accounts, serving as a trusted partner to advance joint initiatives, drive mutual value creation, and reinforce Quest's leadership in diagnostics. * Deliver Business Presentations and Thought Leadership: Represent Quest Diagnostics at internal and external forums, presenting global strategies, performance insights, and growth opportunities to senior management, industry partners, and global stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, consulting, project management or related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies
- Prefer prior financial analyst or business development experience
- Project Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of market research and data analysis techniques
- Excellent leadership skills and "C" level presentation ability; motivating colleagues and inspiring potential clients
- Strong knowledge of the diagnostics marketplace and global business experience
- Demonstrated analytical and financial skills required to develop the business and financial model for the Global Diagnostics Network (GDN)
- Bachelors of Business Administration or other applicable discipline is required; Masters of Business Administration or other applicable discipline is preferred
- Certified Project Manager (CPM) required
