About the Department and/or College


  • TTU K-12, a unit of the Texas Tech University Online division, is a state-approved online kindergarten through 12th-grade school that has been meeting students' needs for more than 25 years.
  • Affiliated with Texas Tech University, a Carnegie tier-one research institution, TTU K-12 boasts a rigorous curriculum that allows students to work ahead, make up failed credits, and achieve their goals from wherever they are.
  • Texas Tech University K-12 is a Candidate for Accreditation with NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI.
  • TTU K-12 began in 1993 as a "Special Purpose District" designed to help students whose educational needs were not adequately met by traditional school districts. Since then, we have grown to serve students across the country and more than 70 nations around the world.

Major/Essential Functions


  • Effectively assist the academic elements involved in the TTU K-12 International Partnerships including but not limited to assisting teachers, validation of student transcripts, and assisting partners with daily tasks.
  • Attend conferences, online meetings, and calls concerning all types of issues with students, parents, or other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Assist with daily and seasonal processes to ensure efficiency with course enrollments, student admissions, students IDs, folder creation, entrance exams, and transcript evaluation.
  • Assist with data entry for international partnership students to ensure student information is up to date within the SIS including demographic, profile, state assessment, and course completion information.
  • Assist principals, counselors, registrars, and other departments with escalated issues by researching information with our systems and finding solutions.
  • Work with departments internally to mediate and ensure teachers have necessary resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Able to use video conferencing platforms.
  • Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work and perform on several projects simultaneously.
  • Have the ability to make sound judgments.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation or the equivalent plus four (4) years progressively responsible experience in a related area; additional job related education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of current and future trends concerning online education.
  • Experience in working in various LMS and SIS platforms.
  • Experience working in education or customer service.
