Join Blue Origin's team as theDirector of Telecommunications Strategy.In your role you will drive an enterprise-wide consolidation of our current and prospective business needs for communications technologies and the associated spectrum pipeline.

You will be the single threaded leader responsible for generating business value to internal programs and our customers in throughstrategic planning, competitive intelligence, and cross-industry collaboration. You will identify emerging market opportunities, and build comprehensive business cases that position Blue Origin's programs and their associated telecommunications needs to scale.

This unique role will work at the intersection of technical programs, sales, strategy to shape the future of Blue Origin and our vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. This role will be highly visible within executive leadership and broadly represent the company to industry stakeholders and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set vision and strategy for ground and space communications solutions in alignment with broader Blue Origin goals.
• Embed with sales teams for pursuits that require satellite communications expertise and competitive differentiation strategies.
• Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify emerging business opportunities, strategic partnerships, M&A targets.
• Foster relationships with industry consortiums, standards bodies, and technology innovation ecosystems.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, working groups, and strategic forums.
• Develop innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
• Prepare executive briefings, board presentations, and strategic planning materials related to spectrum initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional strategy teams on telecomms-related corporate initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications/satellite communications industry including federal government, private industry, or consulting roles.
• Demonstrated track record in developing and executing strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into sales strategy and commercial opportunities.
• Executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives and board members.
• Track record of successfully managing cross-functional strategic initiatives and partnerships.
• Experience working with external stakeholders including government agencies, industry partners, and vendors.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and developing new market opportunities and revenue streams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of government contracting and public-private partnership models.
• International sales experience and understanding of global spectrum/telecommunications markets.
• Experience with technology commercialization and innovation ecosystem development.
• Industry certifications in project management, strategic planning, or sales methodology.

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
