About the Role Culmen is looking for a Defense Accounting SME with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) implementation expertise for a short-term engagement supporting a team developing institutional reform and modernization efforts. This would have an anticipated start date of 1 Oct 2025. Estimated level of effort is 130 hours over a 3-month period with potential follow-on work through September 2026. Remote work with limited travel. What You'll Do in Your New Role
Provide accounting guidance and support to enhance defense accounting and reporting capability. The objective is to provide defense property accountancy support to increase transparency and public trust, reduce fiscal procedure response times, and increase the effectiveness of the fiscal system.
