ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works closely with Drug Room Reps to ensure the department's daily work schedule is met. Prioritizes and delegates daily work assignments, ensures team member productivity and accuracy, and acts as a liaison with other departments. Trains new hires, provides informal performance feedback, and fills in for the supervisor in his or her absence. Ensures same-day receiving is processed on a timely basis. Contacts buyers and vendors as necessary and works closely with the Receiving department on deliveries and DCI updating. Monitors steps taken to prepare for monthly inventories. Monitors product location related to activity. Reconciles daily reports and writes procedures for Drug Room TSM's. Deals with customer service on a regular basis. Reconciles daily drug room reports.

QUALIFICATIONS: SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize and direct various work assignments. Strong basic reading, math and computer skills. Excellent problem solving and communication (verbal/written) skills. Ability to work under stress and deal with multiple problems. Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment. Must be flexible to train in all areas of the warehouse. Detail oriented to be responsible and accountable for department accuracy, goals and training. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Two years general warehousing experience including inventory control or comparable experience required. High school diploma or the equivalent required. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Walking/standing 70%, desk/phone 30%. Controlled/enclosed environment. Lift up to 50 lbs. Located on mezzanine (upstairs). Will be exposed to continuous noise from conveyors and safety buzzers. May be exposed to dust, various temperatures and hazardous items. Conditions: Continuous temperature-controlled building. May be expose to dust occasionally. Work in a cold environment occasionally.
