ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: General description of essential functions identified below: Responsible for and has the authority to establish the duties and activities of positions that directly and / or indirectly report to him. Responsible for compliance to OSHA regulations, EMS Plant Representative with respect to environmental legal & related requirements, responsible for the oversight of waste, regulatory auditing, spill response, and general assistance. Participates in the selection, development, training and discipline of the Maintenance Team, which includes the Weld Engineer, Controls Engineer, Maintenance / Maintenance Skilled Team Members and Maintenance Area Manager. Supports & maintains all engineering / maintenance functions in the plant, corporate exercises and design programs including: OSHA Regulations, ergonomics, safety of equipment, equipment quality and efficiency, plant engineering and maintenance. Monitor and maintain repairs and maintenance, preventative and predictive tasks, to all the equipment and the facility. Communicates with customers, corporate and plant personnel to resolve safety, quality, and through-put an equipment concerns. Supports continuous improvement and cost savings activities utilizing technical and advance techniques. Prepares and implements changes to improve plant measurable included in the Midway Operating System (MOS). Participates in production and shift to shift meetings. Deliver expectations on issues that need specific attention in order to meet customer requirements as well make recommendations on how to accomplish the task at hand. Responsible for confidentiality, open and honest communications. Responsible for enforcing and maintaining Company policies and guidelines. Adheres to all safety regulations. Has the authority to stop production operations with respect to safety or quality concerns. Treats all Team Members with dignity and respect. Performs all other tasks as assigned. Behaviors

Education
Journeyman (preferred)
Bachelors of Engineering (preferred) Apprentice Certificate (preferred) Experience
5 years: Supervisory / managerial experience in a metal stamping facility or equivalent automotive manufacturing background (preferred)
