Job Description

Albany International Corp. is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst. The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible to ensure that the Director of FP&A, CAO and senior leadership receive timely and accurate information to support decision making- this means you will be at the center of the information flow, working with all departments / teams. You will be a subject matter expert for internal reporting and data management. You will enhance project management and cross-departmental team building skills.


This person should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to partner and work cross-functionally in a multi-facet organization, and set a high bar for themselves. Responsibilities & Key Areas

  • Support the Sr. FP&A Director to ensure all reporting needs are met
  • Own planning & reporting solutions and have responsibility for data accuracy
  • Assist in building complex models to support analysis and in-depth look at financial drivers
  • Assist in coordination and consolidation of budgets / forecasts globally
  • Partner with IT, Accounting, HR and Business groups to drive enhancements and improve data infrastructure
  • Support Corporate annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for Leadership describing results to date, forward projections compared to budget and commentary around noticeable trends
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for leadership
  • Special projects as required

Experience/Education/Skills

Preferred Experience/Characteristics/ Competencies & Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 4+ years of FP&A/ Accounting experience
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • MBA and/or CMA a plus
  • Manufacturing background with knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP, budgeting and financial analysis
  • Functional knowledge of SAP; S4 Hana experience a plus
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle Planning/Budgeting and Consolidation tools
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong financial analysis
  • Good business acumen
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of Pivot Tables and functions within Excel
  • Flexible mindset and ability to work independently


Remuneration & Benefits/ Other



  • Location: Portsmouth, NH, full-time in office, 9/80 schedule: Week 1: 9 hours Mon-Thu, 8 hours Friday. Week 2: Work 9 hours Mon-Thu, Friday off
  • Compensation: Will be structured to attract and retain the best possible candidate.
  • Please Note: Due to the restricted nature of work, only US Citizens and US Persons (permanent residents) will be considered for this role. We cannot at this time sponsor employment visas (e.g. H-1B visa status).
