Your tasks As a Sr Process Engineer, you are responsible for providing expert support in process standardization and capability improvements in plastic processing and innovative technologies for injection molding operations. You will function as a technical resource to ensure that injection molding operations process standards for Georg Fischer are compliant. Your profile Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Injection Molding Process Engineering or a closely related discipline. Experience with semi-crystalline and amorphous plastics and ability to process materials through various types (makes) of injection molding and extrusion machines. Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing plastic processing, including shrinkage management, mold qualification, post-molding operations, auxiliary equipment integration, and product testing. Experience with Root Cause Analysis techniques.
