Location: California Only The Area Operations Director will provide direction and leadership for up to four markets within a defined geographic region. Primary purpose is to manage the defined business segment, grow the business at targeted rate, deliver upon divisional profit expectations and serve in a leadership position. Main Responsibilities
- Provides direct leadership and management of assigned districts, ensuring associate development and accountability to divisional goals and objectives.
- Effectively hires, trains, develops and coaches associates to operate as a high performing team, providing one-on-one coaching to improve their skills and abilities, as well as adherence to company policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Builds and maintains sales growth within the assigned markets.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships to drive long term success in assigned markets.
- Engages with Associates to drive an Employer of Choice culture for technicians and support team.
- Implements corporate account programs and service protocols, ensuring service excellence per contractual commitments.
- Maintains direct P&L responsibility for their assigned markets, driving revenue growth and while maximizing profitability.,
- Ensures that all policies and procedures regarding Safety are in place within assigned markets. Leads our Safety First culture.
- Drives business performance by utilizing data analytics and insights to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and develop actionable strategies that support organizational goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor performance metrics, streamline workflows, and provide tools and training to maximize technician efficiency, ensuring high-quality service delivery and increased customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Basic:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Previous leadership experience managing professional / management level associates
- Previous P&L accountability (minimum $7.5 Million responsibility)
- Must be able to travel 25-50%
Preferred:
- MBA
- Previous experience managing a decentralized service workforce.
- Previous experience in foodservice or equipment repair industry.
- Previous experience managing direct customer relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including sales ability.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic growth and service initiatives.
