$80K - 100K Direct Hire 1st Shift Oconomowoc, WI Job Category: Manufacturing Job Details: Responsibilities QUALITY CONTROL AND ASSURANCE * Define quality standards, create inspection plans, develop test methods * Implement statistical process control methods and techniques to monitor and control manufacturing processes * Inspect raw materials, components, assemblies, and processes, either personally or utilizing Quality Technicians, to ensure that requirements are met * Ensure calibration of gages and measuring equipment is in compliance and records are maintained * Track performance data, analyze results, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement PROBLEM SOLVING AND IMPROVEMENT * Investigate non-conformances to determine root cause, recommend corrective actions * Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to address complex issues * Implement corrective & preventive actions and verify outcomes - both internally and with suppliers * Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality COLLABORATION AND COMPLIANCE * Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product life cycle * Interact with suppliers, including supplier visits, to facilitate effective communication * Maintain detailed documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and validation protocols * Communicate with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, etc. in verbal and written format * Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure the company remains compliant * Identify gaps in the Quality Management System and initiate updates to address the gap * Train others in quality processes, procedures, and tools * Participate in interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new employees as appropriate Qualifications
