The O'Hare Lab seeks a postdoctoral candidate to join our rapidly growing and energetic team. As a postdoc in the O'Hare Lab, you will leverage cutting-edge volumetric multiphoton imaging and electrophysiological techniques to investigate dendritic mechanisms of learning and memory, at subcellular resolution, in mice while they form new memories in real time.

Minimum Qualifications



  • A doctorate degree in a neuroscience-related field.
  • Previous experience acquiring neural time-series data and analytically relating it to animal behavior.
  • Previous experience in rodent stereotactic survival surgery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to interact positively and constructively with fellow lab members.



Desired Qualifications



  • Previous experience performingmultiphotonin vivoimaging.
  • Strong background in object-oriented Python programming.
  • Familiarity with principles of optical and electrical physics.
