JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Job Summary: The FN27 Rates GA will be responsible for developing and maintaining the FN27 rates for PSIT. This role involves analyzing financial data, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with university policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain FN27 rates for newly identified services by analyzing financial data and trends; review, update, change or request rates for all established PSIT service rates.
- Collaborate with departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate rate calculations.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and state regulations related to FN27 rates.
- Prepare and present reports on FN27 rates to finance leadership and university stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of financial models and forecasts related to FN27 rates.
- Provide support and guidance to departments on FN27 rate-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Knowledge of university policies and state regulations related to FN27 rates is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a support setting.
- Strong time management and attention to detail skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Familiarity with the Pennsylvania State University's financial systems and processes.
Working Conditions:
- This is a wage position with flexible working hours.
- The rate for this GA role is $20.00/hour
- The expected workload is 20 hours/week
