The Electric Operations Team is responsible for ensuring the electric grid's reliability and resiliency through the ongoing maintenance and operations of PG&E's 100,000 miles of distribution lines and over 18,000 miles of Transmission lines. Position Summary The Portfolio Operations group is primarily responsible for Portfolio Management of PG&E's annual Electric Workplan delivery in order to meet the Company's obligations in a reliable and economic manner. As part of this function, the group is tasked with providing data driven execution insights, leveraging our Lean Playbook to monitor and improve our annual work delivery, and ensure appropriate Portfolio level management of our overall annual budget and workplan. This includes the integration of Lean Visual Management tools into Operating Review forums and ensures that data outputs are embedded into standard operational processes. Extracts operations data for analysis, leadership support and responses to ad hoc data requests. Maintains operations tools & databases to ensure that they are kept up-to-date. Develops, maintains and enhances operational metric database tools for the broader analytics teams. Identifies and solves current gaps in data requirements and ease of access to ensure fast and consistent responses to leadership inquiries. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the San Ramon/Oakland area. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
