Job Summary: The Maintenance Team Lead will ensure continuous support for Operations, Environmental, Health and Safety and facility needs. They will manage the daily tasks and work-order assignments of the maintenance team and report to the Facilities Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices and systems.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all facilities and production equipment.
- Provide ongoing, continuous, quick response to organizational facility needs
- Notifies Facilities Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and potential electrical/mechanical hazards.
- Set the example for safety, productivity and teamwork for the maintenance team.
- Ensures OSHA safety compliance is maintained and documented.
- Make continuous improvement suggestions.
- On call after hours for emergency repairs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- May be part of a mechanical team on major installations.
- Assign work instructions to the maintenance team.
- Work from work orders, verbal requests, preventative maintenance schedules, manuals and other documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience supervising hourly personnel.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters to perform necessary work.
- Ability to obtain a Fork truck license.
- Ability to use various tools for construction and adjustments of facilities and production equipment.
- Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: Electronic, Electrical, HVAC, PLC, Hydro-pneumatic, Plumbing.
- Valid MA or NH driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
- Occasionally push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally push with up to 120 lbs. of force.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminals, expansive reading, etc.
- The worker is occasionally exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- May be required to work in confined space
- May be exposed to electricity or other power sources.
- DOT Physical required

HOURS OF WORK:
- Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production demands.
