Job Description:The Diet Technician, Registered (DTR) is responsible for completion of admit nutrition screens, provision of diet education, and other tasks associated with the clinical nutrition component of patient care, all provided under the guidance and oversight of the Registered Dietitian (RD). c.) Education: Bachelor's Degree OR associate degree - Food Science, Nutrition Services, or related field - Preferred DTR - Dietetic Technician Registration with the CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) Experience: 1-year inpatient or outpatient clinical nutrition - preferred OR 1- year of inpatient diet office experience - preferred Certifications/Licensures: DTR - Dietetic Technician Registered - Required Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work on and lead teams A thorough knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition and the ability to counsel patients Knowledge of medical records and medical terminology Work Shift:08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $36.57 - $49.37 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
