Analysts, App Support located in Overland Park, KS will assist in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Utilize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana to track and ensure optimal application performance. Assist the application team in running shell scripts to automate processes and maintain application stability. Provide first-level support and issue resolution for databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. Configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems. Provide front office monitoring for critical sales, care, billing, and activations applications to proactively identify potential issues to avoid business impact and/or reduce mean time to repair. Monitor virtual IT NOC for reported issue and to report issues identified on dashboards in the IT Operations Command Center. Create and maintain application and business transaction dashboards utilizing application performance tools like ELK, Kibana and AppDynamics. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Windows and Linux servers which includes patching, certificate renewals. Manage access to Kubernetes (TKE) clusters and ensure appropriate permissions and access controls are in place for team members and services. Create and update Kubernetes Configuration Maps and Secrets as required by applications, ensure sensitive data like credentials are securely stored and managed within the clusters. Work with assigned application support, development, and testing teams as an evangelist for AppDynamics tools to perform basic training and provide information for them to create alerts for their specific application.
Skill requirements:
Experience (1): Experience using tools including AppDynamics and Splunk for application performance monitoring. Experience (2): Experience using Linux and Windows to make sure application services are working as expected. Experience (3): Experience using Oracle and SQL Server to verify application data. Experience (4): Experience using Elastic search and Kibana to make sure indexes are updated with latest data and information from source. Experience (5): Experience using Gitlab to make updates to JSON files. Experience (6): Experience using Kubernetes (TKE) to create and update APIGEE proxies.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Telecommunications Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field, and one year of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field, and three years of relevant work experience.

OTHER: Work hours: 40 hours/week. Salary: $122,470 to $127,470/year. Candidate's pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
