Seeking a strategic brand manager and leader, who can quickly adapt to new environments and teams, who has the passion to build a brand with a positive impact on the world, who has the persistence to bring new ideas to reality, and who combines all of this with solid business acumen and P&L management.

The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and act pragmatically, influencing across the organization to deliver new ideas. They will be a growth-minded leader who thinks and acts in a disciplined, yet disruptive way and who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. They will have a strong ability to collaborate and influence and can take on more marketing responsibilities, leading and developing plans partnering directly with agency partners. They will find ways to prioritize and make recommendations to deprioritize less impactful workstreams.

This role is part of a rotation program with the first assignment being in Beverage Creations as the Brand Manager of evian and can be based in either of our HQ locations: Louisville, CO, New York Fulton, NY or White Plains, NY. The expected duration of each rotation is between 12 and 24 months, and will be determined by a combination of matching development opportunities and exposure to different marketing competencies, and meeting business needs and priorities.

In the first assignment, the Senior/Brand Manager may be responsible for, but not limited to:

    Core Business Management
    Overseeing the full water portfolio and overall business performance, including P&L management, financial targets, and commercial priorities. Driving pricing, distribution, and OBPPC strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Building an Iconic Brand
    Leading annual brand plans and executing breakthrough tentpole activations (media, PR, partnerships, experiential), while shaping shopper programs across key channels. Managing agency relationships to deliver creative excellence and maximize ROI.
  • Project Leadership
    Driving evian's most critical strategic projects, from long-term brand equity initiatives to near-term growth accelerators. Navigating the Danone NA matrix and global partnerships to align stakeholders, secure resources, and move initiatives forward.
  • Innovation Pipeline
    Partnering with the Marketing Director and Global team to shape the long-term innovation roadmap. Leading cross-functional collaboration (R&I, Supply, Sales, Legal, Finance) to design, validate, and launch breakthrough innovations that expand occasions, drive category growth, and future-proof the brand.
The Senior/ Brand Manager may also be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Crafting purpose led brands, refining the positioning, and creating robust long-term platforms that will both drive equity and business growth.
  • Delivering best in class creative content and activations, deployed at the right time, in the right place for the right consumers.
  • Building brand plans, working with agency partners directly and leading the IAT to ensure an integrated plan is built and executed. Partner with Omnichannel team and CatComm for vertically integrated plans.
  • Creatively leveraging trade, consumer, and shopper marketing dollars to maximize brand growth and ROI
  • Managing Business performance and key leverage points in P&L (volume, pricing, variable cost, trade, A&P, productivity) to achieve budget commitments.
  • Quickly building strong relationships with cross-functional partners to drive the business forward
  • Support Masterbrand strategic vision and lead insights-driven foundational development (i.e. Brand Promise/Standards)
  • Strive for profitable growth through making relevant strategic data-based choices
  • Understanding trade and retail dynamics and developing a comprehensive brand/category portfolio commercial strategy with the right sales fundamentals

The base compensation range for this position is $108,000 - $161,000 commensurate with experience. Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About You

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 Years progressive marketing experience with increasing responsibility, and a proven track record of success in sizeable companies. Experience in Food & Beverage is a
  • For this specific desc, current brand manager level experience in brand management at a CPG company is required. Experience in Food & Beverage is a plus.
  • Experience in Fine Dining channel preferred.
  • Agility: ability to adapt quickly to different teams and Brand missions, driving for performance and providing business
  • Flexibility: open to supporting various brands (of various size/scope, etc) and consistently changing focus area (brand/BU) via short-term assignments
  • Strong ability to switch between big picture and day-to-day to drive projects forward without losing sight of the overall goals
  • Strategic and analytical thinking: ability to shape a vision and a strategy and translate it in concrete actions/plans
  • You have a passion for building brands and a proven track-record of breakthrough consumer activation.
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and executive presence to clearly communicate objectives, gain alignment and present their business up and down the organization
