Could you be the full-time remote Business Developer in Las Vegas, NV we're looking for? This role may also be fully remote in any Mountain (MTN) or Pacific (PST) time zone.

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your business development and commercial strategy expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll drive growth by shaping Alstom's commercial strategy for North American Services, building strong customer relationships, and delivering impactful value propositions. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Customer Directors, functional teams, P&L teams), lead proposal strategies during the Bid/Tender phase, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Leading the Services commercial team in all aspects of portfolio growth, including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication for accounts in the US and Canada. ,



  • Serving as the primary conduit between Alstom and assigned customers, in coordination with the Alstom Customer Director team, to develop a deep understanding of their business operations and how Alstom's products and services deliver added value. ,



  • Building and maintaining customer relationships and communication at all organizational levels, including C-suite. ,



  • Collaborating with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives. ,



  • Structuring, pricing, negotiating, and closing business opportunities. ,



  • Leading the preparation and strategy of winning proposals during the Bid/Tender phase, ensuring alignment to the tender schedule, customer requirements, and delivery approach. ,



  • Demonstrating domain knowledge of North American passenger and transit business operations, market environment, and Alstom's value proposition in Maintenance and Operations Services. ,



  • Applying technology-based solutions to improve operational outcomes in large-scale business operations. ,



  • Translating customer issues and needs into profitable business solutions with a customer-centric mindset. ,



  • Driving strategic or product marketing initiatives, including product development, Value Story creation, and launching new technologies with customers."

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or other related fields. ,



  • Experience or understanding of North American railway or rail transit industry segment. ,



  • Knowledge of customer relationship management at all organizational levels, including C-suite. ,



  • Familiarity with strategic or product marketing, including Value Story creation and launching new technologies. ,



  • Strong oral and written communication skills. ,



  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial growth strategies. ,



  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into business solutions. ,



  • Experience in structuring, pricing, negotiating, and closing business opportunities. ,



  • Leadership experience in rail or transit operations and system maintenance. ,



  • Adaptability to work in a matrixed team environment to achieve growth objectives.
