Provides quality control (QC) oversight and support to ensure compliance with governing requirements and to help ensure high-quality products and services for EnergySolutions customers. Develops and maintains QC plans, procedures and checklists used during the inspection of fabrication activities. Performs and documents inspections Performs variance lab work (gradation, Atterberg, proctors) Performs and documents nondestructive examinations (NDE) on fabricated and/or purchased components. Reviews inspection results and completes reports on inspection activities in accordance with applicable procedures. Performs independent project surveillances as assigned. Provides direction and guidance to vendors on QC matters. Supports the resolution of nonconforming conditions. Use AutoCAD There is no supervision of other workers at this level. Responsible for the quality of their own work. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Performs other duties as assigned.
