POSITION PURPOSE:
North Wind Federal Services is seeking vigilant and reliable Security Escorts to supervise uncleared personnel within a secure federal facility. This role requires adherence to strict access control procedures and real-time coordination with security staff to ensure mission integrity and facility safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Escort uncleared personnel at all times; maintain unobstructed visual control.
*Supervise entry/exit points per security protocols.
*Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures; stop work for violations.
*Support short-notice escort requests and mission-critical assignments.
*Report schedule deviations or personnel absences to the project lead promptly.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
*High School Diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities:
*Familiarity with government security procedures and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) environments.
*Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to respond to dynamic security needs.
*Flexible with scheduling and capable of working independently or in teams.

Special Requirements:
*Eligibility for DOE Q Clearance and SCI Access; polygraph may be required.
*May include short-notice or intermittent assignments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Experience in a security or protective services role strongly preferred.
*DoD Top Secret clearance or DOE Q clearance preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
*Work performed on-site in a secure government facility, often in or around SCIFs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
*Requires standing and moving for extended periods and constant situational awareness.
