As an AMO Technician Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform assembly, maintenance, repair and overhaul on equipment & Drill Bit products
  • Support the weld/braze, clean, grind, paint and refurbish of product
  • Conduct repairs on production tools and shop equipment
  • Use moderately complex tools and equipment
  • Maintain repair & equipment records and product documentation
  • Perform work to defined procedures in line with standard work practices and Quality standards
  • Ability to maintain tools and equipment to ensure uninterrupted product flow
  • Conduct business in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values
  • Perform specific tasks and special projects, as assigned.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience with performing routine maintenance
  • Possess a high-level mechanical aptitude
  • Competent in operating mechanical equipment
  • Able to make equipment repairs as necessary
  • Knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience of the above responsibilities
  • Welding/Braze experience a plus
