We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Indianapolis, IN office. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing Administrative Support for Engineering Teams as assigned. This position will also aid in the day-to-day support of administrative Marketing tasks and will have successfully completed the IMEG Administrative Standards Assessment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote IMEG standards
  • Assist assigned team and other teams as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of project/client, corporate, and employee matters
  • Be the face of IMEG for all guests entering the office
  • Work with engineering specifications
  • Attend and actively contribute to group meetings
  • Handle mail and telephone duties
  • Participate in team's Administrative Team Advancement Program (TAP)
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by aiding in problem solving measures when working with Engineering Team
  • Offer administrative support to the Marketing Department as outlined by the Director of Marketing;
  • Other duties as assigned by employer
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum two years' experience in administrative field required, familiarity with Engineering preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
