Summary: The Supply Chain intern will be responsible for assisting supply chain team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply Base activities, including reporting, analytics, BOM Analysis, and supplier management. This position is onsite at Phoenix or Tempe locations.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Assist/Support global supply chain department on a daily basis.

Access and navigate Rapid Response, IHS, ERP and other business applications

Assist with supplier communications.

Assist with development or review process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions

Develop charts and dashboards for assign projects

Support escalation/shortage resolution for assign projects

Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.

Develop and present material to executive audiences to drive decision making and awareness.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing major in Supply Chain Management or related field; Junior or Senior preferred.

Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.

Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.

Able to perform in a team environment.

Active involvement with a variety of extracurricular activities

Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder required for access to ITAR restricted information and facilities.

Local candidate to Phoenix metro area as onsite work will be required

Education: Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing major in Supply Chain Management or related field; Junior or Senior preferred.

Geographical Location: Arizona: Tempe Headquarters or Phoenix Mfg Plant

Physical Location: Phoenix AZ, 3201 E Harbour Dr. or 56 S Rockford Dr. Tempe

Work Schedule: M-F (25-30 hours/week) Full Time/ Possible Part Time during school
