POSITION SUMMARY:


The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing community engagement and non-profit events at Mall of America (MOA). These efforts drive community support, increase brand exposure, and enhance the guests' experience, ultimately contributing to brand loyalty, increased traffic and sales. This role supports and implements the organization's strategy while managing day-to-day initiatives and partnerships, including Social Responsibility, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and Environmental Sustainability.


This role also serves as a key administrator and board liaison for the MOA Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arm of the organization. The CSR Manager will oversee events, partnerships, donation programs, and stakeholder relationships that position Mall of America as a leader in corporate citizenship.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage and deliver CSR initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand values.
  • Support the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility in implementing CSR programs, including Social Responsibility, DEI, and Environmental Sustainability initiatives.
  • Proactively build and maintain partnerships with non-profit organizations and local community stakeholders.
  • Serve as Secretary to the MOA Community Foundation, providing administrative support, managing board operations, coordinating campaigns, and acting as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Director of CSR and leadership team in coordinating the MOA Community Foundation's events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Plan and manage annual CSR events and activations within the Mall and Nickelodeon Universe.
  • Manage corporate giving programs, including in-kind and cash donations, sponsorships, and employee giving campaigns.
  • Review, evaluate, and respond to donation and sponsorship requests,; track inquiries and outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure internal alignment and communication on community initiatives.
  • Engage MOA employees in CSR -related initiatives and encourage volunteerism and participation.


  • Track and analyze success of CSR programs to evaluate impact and inform future strategies.
  • Provide guest support and assistance as needed to enhance the visitor experience.


  • Help ensure the safety and cleanliness of event areas.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLDEGE, AND ABILITIES:



  • 4-7 years of experience in event/program management, coordination and partnership cultivation, preferably in the non-profit or corporate philanthropy sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, email, Monday.com and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for social impact, sustainability, and community building.

STARTING PAY:


$57,489 - $71,861

Pay is based on many aspects which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience and certifications.
