The Markowitz lab is seeking an entry level researcher to participate on research that focuses on research in the cortical and subcortical circuits and how they go awry in neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease. The candidate may be involved in performing measurements of large-populations; using 3D cameras and probabilistic approaches to machine learning additionally, they may participate in assisting with the development of new methods to control activity in these circuits using precision closed-loop deep brain stimulation. Provide professional level support to a school or research laboratory within the Institute in conducting and reporting results of tests and experiments. Includes coordination of lab testing processes, analysis of data and protocol design. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: academic and research faculty, co-workers.
