Position & Office Overview

The ECS Baltimore, Maryland has an immediate need to fill a TEST JOB. Our Baltimore office is located in a convenient and accessible area of the city, making it easy to connect with clients and projects across the region. From this dynamic location, the team works on a wide variety of projects that help shape Baltimore and surrounding communities. Our office provides a full range of services-including geotechnical, construction materials testing, environmental, and facilities engineering-offering employees the chance to collaborate across disciplines and grow their careers. Responsibilities

  • *THIS JOB IS ONLY FOR TESTING PURPOSES.*
  • Observing and documenting field activities
  • Sampling, testing, and inspecting soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement
  • Performing calculations and data reduction of test results along with drafting
  • Using field screening equipment and documenting readings
  • Reading maps, following directions, and interpreting engineering and construction plans
  • Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0 - 3 years of experience
  • Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university

Military Qualifications:

  • The following US Military ranks and MOS codes would qualify for this position:
    • E-6, E-7, O-2, O-3
    • Army 12 series; Navy BU, EA, EO, SW, 5100; Air Force 3E series and 32EX; USMC 13 series
