DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will leverage your exceptional analytical skills to administer standardized knowledge assessments that gauge applicants' comprehension of motor vehicle regulations, driving laws, and relevant traffic control devices. All applicants will undergo a vision screening using a telebinocular instrument to assess visual acuity. Your strong customer service abilities will be essential as you professionally greet clients, verify their identification, and ensure that application forms are complete. It will be your responsibility to accurately input information into the online driver license application system and provide necessary forms and informational brochures tailored to customer needs.
Familiarity with the services offered and the requirements for each, including the criteria for obtaining REAL ID or non-REAL ID products, is essential. You will assist customers with information regarding driver's license or identification card renewals, duplicates, out-of-state transfers, motorcycle licenses, and the acquisition and maintenance of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), as well as the various restrictions and endorsements associated with commercial licenses. - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
