The Role
As a VP Enterprise Architect - Managed Services, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior client executives-CIOs, CISOs, CTOs-driving transformative technology initiatives that align with business goals. You'll lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-service solutions across cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data analytics, application modernization, and IT operations, ensuring technical excellence and commercial viability. Acting as a thought leader and innovation catalyst, you'll represent the organization at industry events, publish insights, and foster collaboration across internal teams. With deep domain expertise and a sharp business lens, you'll influence service portfolio development, mentor technical talent, and support high-value sales engagements, all while building trusted relationships with enterprise clients and shaping long-term technology strategy.

Responsibilities include:

Strategic Client Engagement & Advisory

• Serve as the Managed Services advisor for key clients, building strong relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and other senior IT and business leaders.
• Understand client business strategies, current IT environment, pain points, and future aspirations to identify and drive transformational opportunities.
• Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, industry trends, and their potential impact on client businesses (e.g., Cloud, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Application Modernization).
• Co-create technology roadmaps and architectures that align with client business outcomes.

Solution Strategy & Design

• Collaborate with Presidio's sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to conceptualize, design, and articulate complex, multi-service technology solutions.
• Ensure proposed solutions are innovative, technically sound, commercially viable, and tailored to client needs.
• Lead technical discussions, whiteboard sessions, and solution presentations to clearly communicate value propositions.
• Influence solution development based on market feedback and client requirements.

Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Act as a technology evangelist, representing Presidio at industry events, conferences, and client executive briefings.
• Publish whitepapers, articles, or presentations on relevant technology topics.
• Stay current with advancements in enterprise technology, competitive landscapes, and best practices.
• Foster innovation within Presidio and with clients by identifying new opportunities for technology adoption.

Sales Enablement & Deal Support

• Provide deep technical and strategic support to sales teams on complex, high-value deals.
• Assist in qualification, discovery, and proposal development, ensuring technical accuracy and compelling value articulation.
• Address technical objections and build client confidence in Presidio's capabilities.

Internal Collaboration

• Partner with Presidio's global technology leadership, offering teams, and delivery units to provide client insights and influence service portfolio development.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to solution architects and other technical pre-sales personnel.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of how technology impacts business outcomes and drives client value.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms.

Communication & Presentation

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong executive presence and presentation abilities.
• Skilled at influencing and persuading across all organizational levels.

Client Engagement

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior IT leaders.

Leadership & Strategy

• Strategic thinker with the ability to define long-term technology visions.
• Experienced in leading diverse teams toward common goals.

Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior architecture, consulting, or pre-sales Chief Architect role.
• Preferably within a large IT services organization or global enterprise.
• Proven track record of driving technology strategy and delivering complex IT solutions for large enterprise clients.
