Your role

As a Regional Sales Manager-Power and Light (PAL), your mission is to develop sales channels (dealers and rental companies) with the goal of increasing market share and sales volume for Atlas Copco portable power and light products in the designated territory of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Implement actions that result in sustainable, profitable growth that is in-line with overall company objectives and goals. This penetration into the sales channels and world-class customer service are paramount in accomplishing the company goal of becoming "First in Mind - First in Choice". You will report to Robert Miltenberger, VP, North Region and Acting VP, Canada Region.


You will:



  • Expand Atlas Copco's portable power and light equipment sales and market share within the assigned territory through strategic account management and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and rental partners by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to analyze market conditions, introduce new products, and implement programs that support business growth and competitive positioning.
  • Utilize CRM tools for sales tracking, support team initiatives, conduct product demonstrations, and consistently represent Atlas Copco's values and culture-while managing extensive travel demands.

Experience:
* Minimum of five years of related work experience in capital equipment sales to the equipment rental or civil construction industries.
* Strong experience with portable power and or energy management equipment is required

Education/Certifications:
A 4-year, bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration will be beneficial with minimum of 5 years of experience as described above, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Skills:
Computer Skills:
Must have working knowledge of computer and smart phone applications including Microsoft Office Suite; experience and proficiency with CRM platforms is desirable.
Language & Reasoning Ability:
* Must be able to read English, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.


* Ability to write detailed reports and business correspondence is required.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
* Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writtten, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.
* Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in various situations where only limited standardization exist.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Travel:
Must be able to travel extensively (usually by airplane or automobile) throughout the assigned area, US and globally as needed to coordinate activities. Approximately 60% travel is expected.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Salary range for this position is between $83,000 and $103,000 annually, and is based on experience, qualifications and geographic region.
