The Solution Engineer II is responsible for bridging the technical gap between our solution offerings and the needs of our clients. The scope of this job includes collaboration with sales, solution development, and implementation teams to understand client requirements, propose technical solutions, and demonstrate the value of WellSky solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, project teams, and client personnel to execute technical implementation tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze client needs for custom solutions, assess the feasibility of requests, and conduct data mapping to understand relationships between data entities.
  • Develop custom scripts and write detailed requirements for client-requested solutions utilizing skills in SQL, data migration, etc.
  • Perform basic debugging of custom solution issues reported by testers or users, including identifying and isolating root causes.
  • Expand knowledge of assigned solution applications by exploring new functionalities, tools, and modalities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns regarding configurations or customizations, ensuring understanding of project deliverables and expectations.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Database migration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience utilizing AI tools
  • Ability to consistently collaborate with clients and understand their processes

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
