Pay Range DOE: $15.00-$17.00/hour - no shift differential

Work Schedule:



  • Tue & Wed 11:30pm to 8:00am 3rd shift
  • Thurs, Fri, Sat 3:30pm to 11:30pm 2nd Shift


This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement.

This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan - must be 18 years of age to participate.

JOB SUMMARY:

Goodwill Staffing is a full-service staffing agency within Goodwill of Colorado. Goodwill Staffing offers many employment opportunities such as temporary-to-hire and temporary day labor positions. The person in this role will coordinate with Hope Program staff and Shelter staff to encourage and promote a safe and supportively accountable environment in Hope Program Housing that promotes the campus philosophy as well as ensuring smooth operation the Hope Program on the Shelter campus. Program Coordinators should aim to create supportive and accountable relationships that model Christ likeness in patience, kindness, and hospitality that encourages an atmosphere of mercy, grace, and authenticity with all clients of the Shelter. In this role, you are responsible for working with staff and clients to facilitate Hope Program policies and procedures along with understanding and upholding campus regulations, guidelines, and core values. In addition, this role is responsible for properly collecting and tracking client data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Collaborate with Hope Program Staff to establish and implement Hope Program policies and procedures that advance the Hope Program and encourage overall safety and security; maintain ongoing communication.
  • Provide support, encouragement, and accountability for clients in line with Hope Program policies and procedures and Client Core Values.
  • Take opportunities to build relationship with clients for the purpose of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and be available to provide support by praying with/for clients as needed or requested.
  • Monitor and ensure clients are accounted for in accordance with regular program service schedule.
  • Complies with all information technology training and data privacy requirements: collecting, utilizing, and inputting all client data into current CLIENT data tracking systems properly and accurately as required.
  • Uphold Hope Program policies and procedures through implementation of case management directives; collect samples for urinalysis, administer breathalyzer as required or needed.
  • Submit daily Program Housing Coordinator reports to the Hope Program team documenting activities, incidents, and self-evals in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Contact Supervisor in the event of incidents involving dismissal of client or altercations that are not resolved by verbal intervention.
  • Provide access to medication and monitor in accordance with Addiction Recovery Service policies and procedures.
  • Respond to and diffuse situations before escalation, handle disputes and altercations appropriately.
  • Perform random/routine checks of client's dorms and belongings upon entrance, randomly during client program participation, and exit of Hope Program Housing.
  • Maintain orderliness, oversee daily chore schedule of clients to maintain cleanliness and safety of all Hope Program Housing.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations such as fire, water damage, or accidents. When necessary, complete CLIENT incident reports.
  • Collaborate with CLIENT Security Team to address issues involving security systems including alarms, fire panel and smoke detectors.
  • Maintain order, oversee daily schedule to maintain cleanliness and safety of work area. Place maintenance or I.T. work orders as needed.
  • Conducts incremental rounds for fire and security purposes.
  • Maintain and understand the Hope Program Housing building evacuation plans. Coordinate with other CLIENT departments as necessary.
  • Attends all required meetings and reviews CLIENT emails regularly.
  • Operate CLIENT vehicle for client transportation to appointments, Church, and recovery meetings as needed.
  • In this role, you may be required to drive on behalf of Springs Rescue Mission utilizing CLIENT company vehicle and/or your personal vehicle. In accordance with that, a valid driver's license, current proof of insurance and/or clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years is required. To ensure the safety of our employees and compliance with state and federal law, CLIENT utilizes ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring where MVR reports may be run randomly to ensure you have a valid driver's license and clean driving record if utilized as driver.
  • Assists and supports volunteers in their service.
  • In this role, you may be required to drive on behalf of Springs Rescue Mission utilizing CLIENT company vehicle and/or your personal vehicle. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a Christian recovery environment desired.

  • Desire to serve the Lord in ministry to the lost, hungry, cold, and frightened. Be able and willing to exercise compassion and discernment while modeling the pursuit of Christ likeness.
  • Ability to handle crisis and unexpected situations with calm and clear thinking, demonstrating good analysis and judgment to bring resolution.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, insightful, and perceptive
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of addiction and recovery preferred.
  • Able and willing to honor and uphold the leadership and mission of CLIENT.
  • Thorough, systematic, and organized with regard to security and protocol
  • Street knowledge and understanding of anger management highly desired.
  • Computer literate, able to use basic office equipment.
  • CPR/First Aid experience/current certification preferred.
  • Able to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Two years of sobriety required, if in recovery
  • Flexibility in working hours, including on-call availability and willingness to work holidays as they coincide with regular shifts.
