IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Finance & Accounting Systems Analyst in our Rock Island, IL office.

The Finance & Accounting Systems Analyst will play an integral role in supporting and improving our financial systems and processes. This position is well suited for candidates with a strong foundation in transactional accounting (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reconciliations) who are eager to expand their skills in systems and process optimization.The Analyst will evaluate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements. This role bridges Finance and Technology, offering an excellent career path for professionals interested in advancing beyond traditional accounting roles.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot core financial systems including Vantagepoint, EleVia, Power BI, Avalara, and related applications

  • Audit transactional data, workflows, and system logs to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Analyze and recommend improvements to financial processes and system functionality

  • Review and validate financial reports to confirm accuracy and relevance

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and implement enhancements

  • Assist with user support, training, and communication of system updates, as needed

  • Participate in process improvement projects and occasionally serve as Project Manager for Finance-related initiatives

  • Maintain a strong focus on data integrity, system uptime, and integration fidelity

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and research skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Systems-first mindset with a passion for operational excellence

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify root causes

  • High level of integrity and a collaborative solutions-oriented mindset

  • Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or APIs is desirable but not required

  • Advanced in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Ability to travel up to 15% with occasional overnight stays

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems required (transactional accounting experience strongly preferred).

OR

  • Associates degree, or certificate preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems required (transactional accounting experience strongly preferred).

  • Experience with process improvement or project management methodologies is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Salary Range $54,000-65,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
