Internship Opportunity - Heavy Civil Construction

We are seeking motivated interns to join our heavy civil construction team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting large-scale projects while working alongside experienced professionals in the field. Interns will assist with project coordination, technical reviews, safety monitoring, and communication with multiple stakeholders, including owners, design partners, subcontractors, and field crews.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Instill Safety as a top priority.
  • Support a team of construction coworkers.
  • Build relationships and communicate with coworkers, owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
  • Review and draft technical submittals such as schedules, shop drawings, work plans, etc.
  • Monitoring quality control, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Understand and assist with project layout.
  • Identify critical work items and procure long-lead items.
  • Assist with contract administration, including budget and change procedures.
  • Assist with material procurement, including logistics.
  • Work together to resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce.
  • Maintaining as-built drawings & manuals.

Experience, Education & Skills Preferred

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Pursuing a degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Desire to grow and develop a career and mentor other coworkers.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
