As a Safety Intern, you'll travel with a mentor to assess customer safety, conduct risk evaluations, and support loss prevention strategies that reduce client claims.
What You'll Do Risk Control/Occupational Safety interns will work with experienced safety consultants across multiple business units at Sentry. Interns will assist with conducting safety consultations in various manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and dealership markets. They will help inspect facilities, prepare technical reports, and develop recommendations to help customers control safety exposures. Interns will also gain exposure to evaluating insurance line of business risk including property, workers compensation, liability, auto, and others. Interns will learn how to interact with sales associates and consult with our customers on the principles that will keep their workplace safe.
